For families ยท Years 3โ€“6 ยท Learn at home

Spanish your child actually remembers โ€” and a real teacher when they get stuck.

24 units of Spanish, six lessons each, built so a 7โ€“11 year old can work through them on their own: watch, listen, play, try it, check. No printing, no prep, and nothing you have to teach. And when a unit won't click, you can book me for a 1-2-1 โ€” no subscription, no minimum.

Four units free, no account needed. 1-2-1s are pay per session, cancel free up to 24 hours before.

What a lesson looks like

Five steps, one page, no grown-up required

Every lesson is the same shape, so after the first one your child knows exactly what to do. They read the instructions themselves.

Watch

Slides that wait for your child, not a video that runs away from them. Every word is a real Spanish voice โ€” tap it as many times as you like.

Listen and say

Tap any word on the page to hear it out loud, then say it back. Nothing is recorded and nothing is marked.

Play

Flashcards and a match-up game against the clock. The games are the practice โ€” that is the whole point.

Check

An eight-question quiz at the end of every unit. Best score is saved so you can see it climb.

The bit most schemes don't have

When it doesn't click, book me for an hour

Self-guided lessons work right up until a child hits the one thing they can't get past โ€” verb endings, adjective agreement, or simply saying a sentence out loud without going red.

That's when a person helps more than another round of the game. I teach the session live over video, I know exactly which unit they're on because I wrote it, and afterwards you get a short note saying what we did and what to practise.

  • ยฃ35 an hour, billed per session โ€” no packages to commit to
  • Weekday after-school slots and Saturday mornings
  • Parents welcome to sit in, especially with Years 1โ€“3
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before

Three kinds of session

Pick one when you book โ€” it tells me how to prepare.

๐Ÿงฉ Unstick my child One tricky unit, sorted. We work through exactly what they're stuck on.
๐Ÿ’ฌ Conversation class Speaking practice only โ€” putting the vocabulary they've learned to work with a real person.
๐ŸŽฏ Assessment booster End-of-unit assessment coming up, or getting ready for languages in Year 7.
How it works

From sign-up to speaking

1

Start where they are

Four units are free. Pick their year group, or drop back a year if Spanish is completely new.

2

Fifteen minutes, three times a week

One lesson a sitting, six lessons a unit. About a unit a month at a comfortable pace.

3

Book help if you need it

Stuck, or want speaking practice? Book a 1-2-1 at ยฃ35 an hour. Only when you want it.

4

See what's sticking

Quiz scores and finished lessons show up on the parent dashboard, including which units need another look.

Pricing

Simple, and no lock-in on the tutoring

One subscription covers the lessons. The 1-2-1 sessions are pay-as-you-go โ€” you never have to buy a block, and you never have to book one at all.

What families say

No reviews yet โ€” we've only just opened

Rather than invent some, here's the form. If your child has had a lesson or a 1-2-1 with us, tell us how it went. Good or bad โ€” the bad ones are the useful ones.

How did it go?

We'd publish this as a first name and initial.

Never your child's full name, and never a photo.

Questions

Before you book

Do we need a subscription to book a 1-2-1?

No. The 1-2-1 sessions are completely separate โ€” plenty of families book them without ever using the lessons. If your child has been using them, tell me the unit when you book and I'll open the same one.

What actually happens in a conversation class?

We talk, in the target language, about things a 7โ€“11 year old cares about: pets, football, what they had for lunch. I keep it to vocabulary they've already met so it feels like a win rather than a test. There's no marking and no homework.

Can my child really do the lessons alone?

That's the design brief. Every instruction is written to be read by the child, the audio plays on tap, and there's nothing to print or set up. Sit with them for the first lesson, then most children Year 3 and up run it themselves.

How do I pay?

You book a slot here, I confirm by email within 24 hours with the video link and a payment request. Nothing is charged until the session is confirmed. Cancel more than 24 hours before and it's free; inside 24 hours the session is charged.

Can two siblings share a session?

Yes, at no extra cost, as long as they're within a year or two of each other. Say so in the notes when you book and I'll plan for both.

What platform do the lessons use?

Video call in the browser โ€” no app for your child to install. I share my screen for the activities, and everything we make gets emailed to you afterwards.

Not sure whether they need a session?

Email me the quiz score and what they're stuck on. If another go at the match-up game would fix it faster than an hour with me, I'll tell you that instead.
